The International Workshop on Banking Consumer Protection was co-hosted by the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and the World Bank. It was held from Sept. 25-26 in Beijing and drew 200 attendees from Visa, China and other markets including government organizations, regulators, academy, financial institutions, and media. The workshop is one of the key initiatives during China's National Financial Education Month in September.
